The Kitchen Gallery

Craft House is a dynamic space of approximately 300 square feet and 50 linear feet of wall space including two 8 x 8 ft. moveable walls and large storefront-style windows. The Windows showcase new artists every month. Our Occupancy Opportunities provide a temporary studio, pop-up shop venue, or exhibition space. The Kitchen Gallery contains contemporary work for sale by our favorite artists. We're open Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30pm - 8:00pm, or by appointment. May 17-23 Conversations While Whittling: An Exhibition of a Cajun Family's Artworks curated by Jessica Pleyel

The Pleyel family consists of hunters, farmers and fishers. These positions came out of necessity—as a poor family living on the bayous of New Orleans, these roles were important for survival. Interestingly, they also were fabricators, artists and creators. Conversations While Whittling documents and displays the artwork of the Pleyel family.
